OOPS! Let's Correct That!

OOPSIE! Let's Make CORRECTIONS

A friend of mine (the one who gave me Ruth's White Chocolate Bread Pudding recipe, page 100) discovered that I had left off an ingredient in her recipe, so if you purchased a cookbook, you need to correct that on page 100. It belongs in the pudding ingredients (the first part where the bread goes). Just add to the end of that list: 16 oz. white chocolate pieces (I just use a package and a half of white chocolate chips for that part.)... And, yes, I know that the recipe already lists 16 oz. white chocolate pieces, but that's for the ganache. :-)

This recipe has been corrected in all remaining cookbooks. (I apologize to those who've already purchased and have to make the correction.... I tried to catch EVERYTHING when I edited and edited... but that's an impossible task.). This was only deleted in the FIRST PRINTING (2010). If you've purchased during 2011, then yours was from the SECOND PRINTING and should be okay, except for the following recipes where these corrections need to be made:

*Page 119, Easy Key-Lime Pie
Change 1 1/2 c. lime juice to just 1/2 c. (waaaaay too much lime juice if you use 1 1/2 cup!)
Also, write under the ingredients list: 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

*Page 131, Snicker's Pie
In the first ingredient, mark through "baked" and "cooled" leaving it to read, "1 (9-inch) pie shell"

So far, these are all I've found that need corrections. I hope we've caught everything.
If YOU happen to catch anything that needs correction, don't hesitate to let me know. THANKS!

  1. I need to essssssssssssplain (as Lucy used to say to Ricky on I LOVE LUCY Show) :-) For those who have told me that the 16 oz. white chocolate pieces ingredient already appears in their recipe....

Yes, I know that the 16 oz. white chocolate pieces ingredient is listed, but that's for the ganache that you dip over the bread pudding. What isn't listed is the 16 oz. of white chocolate pieces that goes INTO the bread pudding itself, and that's what you need to write into the bottom of the left column of ingredients. :-) (Sorry for the confusion... IF you were confused :-).
